Your Desires Aren’t What You Think They Are

We live and focus so much on the future that we forget to be present. What’s worse is that the desires we create in our heads hardly give us the satisfaction we think will give us.

When you start being a young adult, your need for a car grows, especially in South Africa and you create all kinds of scenarios in your head of the satisfaction you’ll get from having one.

While the convenience might be there and felt, everything else is just an antidote that wears of rather quickly.

Personally, I’ve been able to let go of my past and present desires simply because I was able to look back from when I was kid and which desires actually had a lasting impact
