You always get presented with the choice of either waiting for governments to bring change, for technology to come to you, or to get up and make that change.
Throughout civilization, technology has been build and improved because someone was frustrated and decided to build a better mousetrap. We went from horse to internal combustion engine cars, from candles to light bulbs, and from multiples devices(telephone, calculator, video camera etc..) to one smartphone.
Last year after years of frustration with the pace of electric vehicle adoption in the country, an idea was born to start South Africa’s very own Battery Electric Vehicle company, MMC. Why keep waiting for technology to finally decide to come to us if we can build it ourselves?
