I love to read and I get my inspiration from a lot of great entrepreneurs and top performers. To me, the stories are important and not the race of these characters but unfortunately, the world doesn’t work that way, once you step out to the real world you’ve reminded of the colour of your skin.
So it can even be more difficult for a young black kid who wants to a billionaire tech entrepreneur when she doesn’t have a lot of reference success stories of people who look like her.
So in order to give the next generation that, someone in this one has to be that person. We have to take on the role of being the firsts to achieve these things, to aim high, focus, and do it cleanly and inspire the next generation to do more and have more.
