“Roads remain the essential network of the non-virtual world. They are the infrastructure upon which almost all other infrastructure depends. They are the paths of human endeavor.” Ted Conover
Roads are a very essential piece of infrastructure in every economy and civilization.
South Africa is ranked 10th in the world of countries with the longest road network but 24th in terms of its total area.
That’s a massive and great achievement which is under threat.
Our network that’s bigger than Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom is in very bad shape and something needs to be done fast.
A fragile economy like our needs it’s roads to be working perfectly in order for it to thrive.
