As a leader, your job is something a person loves and then help them to get more out of what they love.
Talking someone into doing something is always a bad idea.
People in your team should already be in love with what everyone is doing, if not then you’ll find yourself having to motivate people all the time.
You can only inspire someone once and motivate them a finite number of times and motivation is a fire that’s quick to burn out.
So if the motivation isn’t intrinsic then it will quickly burn out and trouble will start.
