Expendable

  • by

We are all expendable in a lot of different settings. The industrial revolution was built on making the individual expendable, instead of artisans and craftsmen we build factory lines where people were thought one simple job which made it easy to replace them along the assembly line.

In relationships, we are quickly replaced and dumbed out for an upgrade. While there are 7 billion people on earth and we just seem to be nothing but an expendable piece of the puzzle, the truth couldn’t be further from the truth.

We share the same 99.9% of our genetic makeup with a slight difference of 0.1% that makes us who we are. And that 0.1% is the most important one, the percentage that makes you different from 7 billion other people, the 0.1% that would make you missed by your loved ones if you disappeared from the face of the earth today.
