Beyond Reason

We see humans as creatures of logic and reason but is that always the case?

We struggle to use logic and reason to help us come together as a species to fight global hunger and poverty.

Our reasoning seems to fail in the food wastage that could be evenly distributed to others.

Reason also seems to go out the window when we talk about climate change, its effects, and its agency.

You’d expect creatures without logic and reason to be the ones failing to understand an issue of this magnitude and others such as plastic waste.

The reason I talk about this is that earth has seen worse but not humans, bad weather will disrupt how we produce food, destroy our infrastructure and disrupt our way of living.

It shouldn’t take much reasoning and logic to see that change is needed and today.
